Home Insurance Quote
Getting a home insurance quote needn’t involve hunting around for your surveyors report to find the rebuild value, or spending hours compiling an inventory of all your possessions. Privilege makes the whole process fast and simple.
When you apply for your home insurance quote, we’ll ask a few questions about you and your property and then provide you with a home insurance quote for a policy that is acceptable to all major mortgage lenders.
Your BUILDINGS policy will provide cover automatically up to £1,000,000 for your home and its walls, roofs, drives, patios and outbuildings including any sheds or garages, for things such as fire storm, theft and subsidence. In addition, you will also benefit from:
- Automatic cover for accidental breakage of windows or fixed sanitary fittings.
- Access to a 24-hour emergency hotline providing access to round-the-clock advice in the event of a domestic emergency.
- Specially negotiated rates for the qualified tradesmen you require if you need work carried out urgently following a domestic emergency.
- Insurance you can transfer when you move home.
And your CONTENTS policy will provide new for old cover, meaning in the event of a claim we’ll replace your old items with new ones (excluding clothing and linens); providing cover for things such as fire, theft, storm or flood. In addition, you will benefit from:
- Automatic cover for accidental damage for your TV, video, audio equipment and home computer (this cover applies whilst in the home).
- Automatic cover for accidental breakage of mirrors, fixed glass in furniture and ceramic hobs.
- Cover for contents in the garden, up to £500.
- Cover for the cost of replacing downloaded information, up to £1000.
If you’re shopping around for a home insurance quote, always make sure you compare the cover and benefits as well as the premium. What may seem like a great price could turn out to be a false economy if it doesn’t offer the cover you need.
