Breakdown Choices of Cover

Whatever your particular needs, Privilege Breakdown offers a selection of cover options to match. Simply choose the cover that best suits you:

• Assistance and free labour at the roadside.
• If we can't fix your car at the roadside, we'll tow it to a nearby garage.
• You're covered once you're a 1/4 of a mile away from home.
• Our message service lets relatives or friends know you're on your way.

• All of the above plus cover when your car's at your home address.

• All the benefits of 'Rescue' once you're a 1/4 of a mile away from home, plus:
• If we can't repair your car by the end of the working day, we'll take you, your car and up to seven passengers in a single journey to your choice of your home, your original destination or a garage local to either.

• All the benefits of Rescue, Rescue Plus and Recovery, plus a choice of:
• A hire car (for up to 24 hours) to either return home or continue your journey, or
• The cost of alternative transport to continue your journey or return home, or
• B&B accommodation in a local hotel while awaiting repair, if you breakdown more than 25 miles away from home.
• If necessary, we'll also pay for a single standard class rail ticket for you or an authorised driver to collect the vehicle.

• For protection when you are driving abroad.  For example, we'll provide roadside help, the cost of travelling home if your car is stolen, and we'll get your car back to you even if you can't drive it. We also provide free legal cover and pay for replacement parts delivery if they're not available locally.

• Whichever cover you choose (excluding Europlus), you can add personal cover on your breakdown cover by calling us.
• With Personal Cover, you can extend your cover to include any car less than 16 years old, even if you're the passenger. You can also extend the cover to include your partner.
